Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
VOTIC ("we", "us") operates the platform available at votic.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices organizations and participants have.
Information we collect
- Account data — for moderators and administrators: name, email address, organization affiliation.
- Participant contributions — anonymous submissions and votes tied to a rotating token, not to a user identity.
- Operational data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use information
- To operate the discussion, voting, and moderation features.
- To secure the service and investigate abuse.
- To communicate service-related notices to account holders.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use participant contributions for advertising.
Anonymity model
Participants join discussions through invitation links or QR codes and contribute without creating an account. Contributions are stored under rotating anonymous tokens and are not linked back to a real identity by the platform.
Data storage & security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel for operational purposes only.
Data retention & deletion
Discussion data is retained for the life of the customer organization's account. Organizations may request export or deletion of their data by contacting support.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us at privacy@votic.app to make a request.
